The northern part (shotpoints 1-7100; c. 355 km) of the line WINCH 2, a profile with a total length of 696 km off the western coast of Scotland, England and Wales. It crosses the North Lewis Basin off NW Scotland, ravels along the strike of the Flannan Trough and across the SW part of the Sea of Herbides Basin, then continues SSW across the Inner Herbides Trough.
