Interpretation (by Rob Butler) of the extensional provide in the gravitational collapse system, offshore Namibia. The extensional basins are brim-fill of growth strata. They appear to have ponded most/all of the sediment coming off the Namibian shelf during the gravitational collapse. The system is sealed stratigraphically, with only minor faulting continuing into the younger drape. ...
